Astoria is a lot more than the oldest city west of the Mississippi. People live here because it's special and they make it that way for the 150,000 visitors each year. I grew up in this small town of 9,965 people in the 60's and came back after 30 years to enjoy all there is to offer.
A couple of guys named Lewis & Clark dropped by and stayed a while. And that's just part of the history of our community. What do you feel like doing? Want to clown around? Drive around? Celebrate the history and beauty of Astoria through unique art projects and events. You will have a good start here and perhaps a chuckle too!
